UPCOMING PEW FORUM WEBCAST ON NEW 50-STATE SURVEY OF PRISON CHAPLAINS

Next week, the Pew Research Center’s Forum on Religion & Public Life will release a new 50-state survey on prison chaplains at an event on Thursday, March 22, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. EDT. The event will feature a discussion of the survey’s findings, led by Pew Forum Senior Researchers Stephanie Boddie and Cary Funk, co-authors of the study.  Additional insights and remarks will be provided by Tom O’Connor, a former Oregon prison chaplain and John DiIulio, the first head of the Bush administration’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives and an expert on the criminal justice system.  We plan to provide a webcast of this discussion and will send more details on how to access the webcast on Tuesday, March 20.
