Case Management Practices for Tribal Probation Personnel Training- DEADLINE March 13, 2015

The Bureau of Justice Assistance, U.S. Department of Justice has awarded funds to the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) to further develop the workforce of tribal justice personnel working with alcohol/substance abusing offenders under community supervision. During this project, CSG/APPA will work in partnership with The Vera Institute of Justice and the Center for Strength-Based Strategies to develop a blended-learning training. Participants are required to complete online lessons prior to the on-site training event. Once on-site, participants will be engaged in 2 ½ days of skill-building activities designed to provide practice and coaching on the training topics:

Dates: April 14-16, 2015

Location: Dallas, Texas

Class size is limited. Training class is limited to the first 15 participants who register. Every participant who is accepted for this training will receive a scholarship to help pay travel and lodging expenses.
