SAMHSA Releases Draft TLOA Documents for Tribal Review & Comment

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in collaboration with the Interdepartmental Indian Alcohol and Substance Abuse workgroup seeks your input/feedback, comments and thoughts on the following DRAFT documents by January 14, 2011:

(1)   Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), authorized in accordance with the general cooperative authority provided under Section 241 of the Tribal Law Order Act of 2010.

(2)   Tribal Action Plan (TAP)

Both draft documents, as well as examples of two existing model tribal action plans can be found under the "Documents" tab of this website and can also be found on the Tribal, Justice, Safety & Wellness Conference website.
